AI Comment Assist in the Web Editor & Mobile App

What's New
AI Comment Assist is the AI-powered comment writing tool you already know from the template editor. It is now available directly in the web report editor and mobile app. Enter a short prompt describing what you observed, and AI Comment Assist will generate a comment title, answer options, and description for you to review, edit, and save.

Stop writing from scratch mid-inspection. AI Comment Assist helps you produce detailed, professional comments in seconds so you can stay on schedule, maintain consistent report quality, and focus on the inspection itself.
Details
Web Editor: Click + Add to create a new comment on any item, then select Generate Using AI to open the Comment Assist panel. Works for editing existing comments via Edit with AI as well.
Mobile App: Tap + New Comment, then tap Generate Using AI at the bottom of the screen. Also available for editing existing comments via Edit Using AI.
Choose your Comment Type (Checkbox or Multiple Choice) and Text Length (Short, Normal, or Long) before generating.
All generated fields — title, options, and description — are fully editable before saving.
Optionally toggle Save to Template on the review screen to reuse the comment in future reports.

Available to all users. The web editor update is live now. Mobile requires updating to version 10.28.5.
