Mobile Annotator Customization plus Crop and Magnify

What's New

The annotation toolbar on mobile has been updated with new customization options, along with Crop and Magnify

Why It Matters

These changes reduce extra clicks — you control where your most-used tools are, added Crop to easily get the image sized how you want, as well as Magnify to zoom in on what is important in the image.

Details

Customizable Toolbar

Go to
Settings > Customize Toolbar
to add, remove, or reorder annotation tools
Your most-used tools stay front and center — no more hunting through menus

Magnify + Crop

Both tools are now available on mobile
Behavior matches web, so the experience is consistent across platforms

How to Enable

There are two different ways to enable the improved annotator
Off by default
To toggle on: open the
web editor
→ Click the gearwheel → toggle Annotator Improvements on
To toggle on: open the
mobile app version 10.37.0
→ Hamburger menu (top left) →

→
Improved Annotator
Note:
This setting controls both web and mobile. Crop and Magnifier require the updated annotator to be enabled on both platforms to work.
