Reinspection Improvements

What's New
Several improvements and bug fixes have landed for reinspections on mobile and web, addressing display issues, workflow gaps, and a few known issues.
Why It Matters
These updates round out the reinspection experience — complementing the recently released Original Inspection Photos feature — so inspectors can add new defects correctly, navigate photos more easily, and deliver cleaner, more accurate reports.
Details
New Defects Now Use Standard Categories
When adding a brand-new defect during a reinspection on mobile, inspectors can now select standard categories (Maintenance, Recommendation, Safety Hazard) instead of being forced into reinspection-only options like Resolved/Not Resolved
Reinspection Photo Labeling
  • Original and reinspection photos are now clearly labeled on comment cards in the web report viewScreenshot 2026-02-19 at 11
  • When expanded, photos are grouped together for easier comparisonScreenshot 2026-02-19 at 11
  • PDF reports also reflect this grouped, labeled layout

What We Fixed
  • Duplicate photos in reinspection carousel
    — The original inspection photo was appearing multiple times in the web report carousel (once per new reinspection photo uploaded). Now it appears once, as it should.
  • Reinspection photo drop zone too precise
    — Dragging a photo into the reinspection drop area now works anywhere within the zone, not just a finicky sweet spot
  • Section names missing from reinspection PDFs
    — Section headers now display correctly in reinspection PDFs, including commercial reports, consistent with the web view
  • Zero-quantity bubbles in reinspection preview
    — The three summary bubbles no longer appear when there's nothing to display in a reinspection report
  • Cannot delete new photos in V10 web editor
    — Photos added during a reinspection on the V10 web editor can now be deleted
Timing & Audience
Rolling out gradually in mobile app version 10.28.3. If you don't see the update yet, hang tight — it'll arrive over the next several days. Web fixes are live now for all users.
