Ever want to quickly check and see what the email formatting looks like in various email clients before activating your Advanced Automation? You can now with the new Send Test feature in the new Advanced Automations builder experience!
Note:
The new experience for Advanced Automations (previously Actions) and therefore this new feature is still going through a staged roll out and not yet available for all Advanced companies. It will be soon though.
How it works
For any email automation when you are in the email editor you will see a new button at the top of the screen labeled
Send Test
.

Clicking on this button will open a small window where you can enter up to 3 email addresses (comma separated) and select a recent inspection to use for filling placeholder values.

Once those fields are filled out click
Send Test
and the email that you have configured in the editor will be sent to each of the entered addresses.
Note:
This does not send to any email addresses other than those entered in the Send Test window even if the To, Cc, or Bcc fields have values in them so this will not be sent to external recipients unless that address is manually entered for the test. Attachments configured in the editor will also not be included in the test emails.
