Spectora's Public API and AI Connector (MCP)

What's New
The Spectora public API and the AI connector (MCP) are now available to every company. Two new tabs on the Integrations page show you what each one does and how to start.
Why It Matters
You can keep your CRM, spreadsheets, and other tools in sync with Spectora without manual exports, and ask an AI assistant plain-language questions about your agents, clients, and inspections.
Details
  • Two new tabs on the Integrations page
    —
    Custom integrations (Public API)
    and
    AI connectors
    , alongside the existing Marketplace integrations tab. Reach them from the user menu under Integrations, or go straight to Custom integrations or AI connectors.
  • Public API
    — Read and write agent, client, inspection, event, and attachment data from your own systems. Full reference at developer.spectora.com.
  • Webhooks
    — Get notified the moment an inspection is created, confirmed, rescheduled, canceled, or published, or when an agent or client record changes. No polling needed, and webhooks do not count against your request allowance.
  • AI connector (MCP)
    — Add
    https://connect.spectora.com/mcp
    to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot. Sign in with your Spectora login to approve access. Full reference at developer.spectora.com/mcp-server.
  • Setup videos
    — Four short walkthroughs on the AI connectors tab cover the Claude web app, the Claude desktop app, ChatGPT Standard plans, and ChatGPT Business plans. These are available from the AI Connector page.
  • Workflow library
    — Example prompts to try once you are connected, linked from the AI connectors tab. Check out the list here.
Note:
The AI connector is read-only today. It can look at your data but cannot change it.
Note:
Creating API keys requires company admin permission. Keys are created and managed at developer.spectora.com/settings/api-keys.
Timing & Audience
Both are live now for all companies. Your monthly request allowance depends on your subscription:
  • Paid subscription
    — Standard plan. 10,000 requests per month, read and write.
  • No paid subscription
    — Free plan. 500 requests per month, read only.
